Broadoak Community School opened in September 1999 in a building designed for teaching in the 21st Century. The whole school is linked for Information Communication Technology and we are fortunate to have a completely new network of 150 computer terminals, with internet and facilities for video conferencing.

Our classrooms are smart, light and well equipped, our specialist science, technology, art, music and drama rooms have state of the art facilities. Our hall accommodates the whole school and is equipped to professional standard as a theatre, whilst our sports hall accommodates easily the full range of sports fully complementing our playing fields.

Teaching and learning is our main focus. We have high expectations of our students. Our teams of highly qualified teachers and support staff use every opportunity to help our students do their best.

Students are carefully monitored and supported by their teachers as well as by tutors and Year Co-ordinators. Students with particular needs receive additional help from the Learning Support Team.

Our school is best seen when full of students working and we are always delighted to welcome visitors in the school day.
