We offer sessions for all children on Monday to Friday 9.00 am  to 12.00 noon during school term time from September to July. Please ask for details of this year's term dates.

Fees information available on request, to be paid preferably at the start of each half term. Children are eligible for Nursery funding the term after their 3rd birthday - please ask for details.

Our Playgroup offers education and care for all children below school age and over the age of 3. We welcome people from all social, ethnic and cultural groups, with or without special needs.

The Playgroup is a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance.

Our aims at St. Nicholas Church Playgroup are:

• to enhance the development and education of our children in a parent-involving, community-based group;
• to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment in which children learn through play via a variety of activities and materials;
• to work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families.

We offer:

• a specially tailored curriculum leading to approved early learning goals;
• a high ratio of adults to children;
• fun and friendship with children and other adults;
• the support of a personal keyworker;
• opportunities for you and your family to be directly involved in the activities of the group and in your child's progress.

OFSTED

Our latest Ofsted inspection took place in February 2005 with the Playgroup achieving top marks in all areas.
