We are based on a 12 acre Landscaped site here at Weston-super-Mare with Boat storage, Pontoon and Trot moorings/ Slipways, Marine Lake, Camping and Boat storage for Boat Owners. Centrally heated accommodation, 2 berth, from £19 per night for 2 persons. We have approx. 100 Craft and engines for sale and on view here at our premises situated on the Bristol Channel and by the Mendip Hills. The Mendip Trail starts here with access to Brean Down and the Old Fort.

The local Yacht Club, Weston Bay Yacht Club, organise a varied programme of racing, cruising in company and social events. Their headquarters are based on the River Axe, downstream from our site.

We have a hydraulic travel hoist for craft up to 35 ft. and 10-ton displacement with purpose built workshops for repairs and servicing of craft and Engines. 24 hr. alloy propellor rebuilds.

A piece of string walked into the Dolphin and asked the barman for a pint of lager. The barman said "Can't you read?" He pointed to a sign on the door. It said "no hippies, no hookers or string."

The string walked happily back to the first pub and asked for a pint of beer. "Are you a piece of string?" asked the barman.

105 Uphill Way has been a place of business for the same family for many years - from being open all hours as a general store to the present day use for sign writing - including the village signs to be seen at the three road entrances to the village.

We are conveniently located for demo-ing boats at the local marina. Situated between two pubs - The Ship and The Dolphin - you could not wish for a better site.

Like this web site the Performance Kayaks Shop is constantly under re-construction. We have extended the main shop back another 10 metres making us one of the largest paddle-sports shops in the region. We already have a stock of over 40 boats and 200 plus cags, over 120 paddles, 50 Buoyancy Aids and countless accessories supplied by many leading manufacturers from around the world.
