Uphill has always been able to entertain itself. From an Operatic Society of the late 1800's to charabanc outings in the 1920's. Shows on the stage of the Victory Hall in the 1950's and 60's to Brunches on the Hill at the end of the Millennium. All ensuring that the village maintains its own separate identity and character.
